Nick Canada

Nick Canada is an enthusiast of narratology, a science and climate fiction connoisseur, and a PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh. His research interests include technology and literature, moral philosophy and literature, posthumanism, the environmental humanities, film studies, and interactive fiction. He has earned an MA from the University of Chicago and a BA from the University of Florida.

Nick's past projects have involved the cataloguing of Pulp-era fanfiction, augmented reality naturalism tours, virtual reality biometric films, and the occasional indie tabletop and video game. He also has taught courses on English literature/composition and moral philosophy at Union College in New Jersey.

Nick hopes to continue in discovering the methods of the preservation of messages and technology through deep time, along with efficient communication of scientific and technological literature through genre fiction.
